Maria Fortes joined The Dental Group in March 2008 as Head Nurse. Maria qualified as a Dental Nurse in Portugal in 1979. She moved over to England in 2000.
She has been in the dental industry for over 40 years, having experience as a Dental Nurse, Receptionist and Head Nurse. She is keen on her career advancement and has gained a number of additional qualifications, including Dental Radiography and Impression taking!
She loves to help people in need and prides herself on being a very happy and positive person. Having worked in both Private and NHS practices she has an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience that has allowed her to consistently provide excellent customer service. She enjoys working as part of a team and ensuring that everything runs as smoothly as possible. Maria says the most rewarding part of her job is helping patients, making them smile & building their confidence.
In her spare time Maria likes spending time with her dogs & grandchildren.
